The Florida Lottery runs regular promotions in which you can enter non-winning tickets for the chance to get cash prizes. All these promotions are offered through the FL Lottery’s Collect N Win site. Find out all about how it works here.
The idea behind Collect N Win is simple. All you have to do is keep hold of your losing scratch-off tickets, then enter them into Second Chance drawings to potentially win prizes.
You’ll need to register for an online account to be able to take part. This just involves submitting a few details.
Check the Florida Lottery website for upcoming promotions and to find out which scratch-off games are eligible. If you have a non-winning ticket, you can enter in a couple of ways, whether you are on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
One option is to enter the full 24-digit ticket number under the scratch-off area on the front, followed by the three-digit PIN. Alternatively, use the Florida Lottery app to scan the barcode.
Each promotion works a bit differently, but usually you receive one entry for each dollar in ticket value.
You can see the draw schedule on the website – informing you of the entry period and draw dates, as well as when the winners will be announced. There are normally a few draws for each promotion, and each one might create lots of winners.
For example, in the $5,000,000 Holiday Bonus Play promotion of early 2024, there was one winner of $20,000 in each draw, while 24 players received $5,000 and another 75 ticket holders won $1,000.
